Sheet extrusion

Millmerran has devoted substantial investment to a dedicated sheet extrusion facility, offering widths from 50mm to 900mm and thicknesses from 0.5mm to 3.5mm. Co-extruded sheets in different materials or different colours are possible, as are either plain or textured surfaces.

For our 90mm extruder, the sheet die is infinitely adjustable for thicknesses from 0-1.8mm.  The screw is designed for the intensive mixing of several continuously metered ingredients.

Our 50mm extruder has a smaller die with downstream capable of running 600mm widths of sheet.

For trialling of new materials we have a 38mm extruder which is used with our 85mm adjustable die to prove concepts.
